Alex MacCutchan, Mississauga Library Workers, Local 966, Chair
Alex MacCutchan is a member of CUPE 966, Mississauga Library Workers. This is his third term as a member of the Library Workers Committee, having served on the committee since 2010.  

Maureen O'Reilly, Toronto Public Library Workers Union, Local 4948
Maureen was first elected to the LWC in March 2011.  Maureen is the president of the Toronto Public Library Workers Union (TPLWU) Local 4948, a position she assumed in September 2010.  TPLWU represents 2,300 library workers in the 98 branches across Toronto.  Maureen is a librarian with over 25 years of service.  She was recently appointed as the Co-Chair of the CUPE National Library Committee.

Guila Cukier, Markham Public Library Workers, Local 905
Guila is the former President of CUPE Local 905, an amalgamated local comprising of over 5000 Municipal, LTC, EMS and Library workers of York Region. Guila has been an Library worker with the City of Markham for over 25 years and an active Union member for most of that time. She has been involved in numerous committees over the years.

Sean Hannaford, Brampton Public Library Workers, Local 1776
Sean Hannaford has worked the frontlines of information services with the Brampton Library for the last six years. When not sitting on the Library workers of Ontario committee, Sean is active as the Chief Steward of Local 1776 and is ardently involved in supporting workers rights – he also enjoys football.

Tiffany Balducci, Oshawa Public Library Workers, Local 960
Tiffany Balducci was elected to the Library Workers Committee just in 2014. She is President of CUPE Local 960, a member since 2008, and before that was a member of AFSCME. Originally from Flint, Michigan, union solidarity runs in her blood! She is a born activist and volunteers with many organizations that are interested in human rights and social justice. Tiffany has worked in libraries for 15 years, starting as a student page. She is a young worker and very dedicated to member mobilization and support. Tiffany has been passionate about libraries and library services since a child and has always considered libraries to be a cornerstone for communities.

Maddelena Ferris Sault Ste Marie Library Workers, Local 67
Maddalena Ferris has spent the last 40 years as an employee in the Children's Department of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library. She has been actively involved in the Union almost as long. The last 5 years she has help the position of Vice President as well as numerous other committees. She is the Senior Technician in the Children's Department, managing the Children's Department under the supervision of The Children's librarian. Training and scheduling new full time, part time staff and pages. Preparing schedules. Keeping monthly stats for program and reference questions. As well as delivering regular children's programs. Helping to maintain the children's collection.
